Košice, Chotín (18.2.2017). The Slovak Championships in Greco-Roman style were held in the south of Slovakia, near the town of Marcelová. Our freestyle wrestlers did quite well despite this. Coach Miroslav Jedlička managed to prepare the cadets, and some of them succeeded even among the classic-style wrestlers. We won a title thanks to Samuel Bučko, who, although a member of the Stará Ľubovňa club, has been studying and training in Košice for his first year. Jakub Zavacký was one place away from winning a title, his brother Matej won bronze, as did Sebastián Rusňák. The delegation also included pupils M. Lešo (7/7), V. Váňa, P. Tomlein, and M. Beneš (10/11).
