Košice (October 25, 2013) - We invite all fans of our Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904 and wrestling in general to the Social Pavilion on Tr. SNP in Košice tomorrow, Saturday, October 26, to cheer on our seniors on their way to the most valuable medals from the 2013 Slovak Championships. The championship will begin in the morning, at 10 a.m., with Greco-Roman style matches and will culminate from 1 p.m. with freestyle matches.
"After three years, our boys will once again compete on the championship mats in a home environment, and therefore I believe that they will show fighting hearts and sporting art in their battles. In addition to a lucky hand at the draw, encouragement from the stands will help them to expected and unexpected victories, and therefore we will be glad if our fans fill the area around the mats in the largest possible number," expressed the president of ZK Košice 1904, Ján Tokár Jr., with hope before tomorrow afternoon.
The Slovak Championships in Greco-Roman and freestyle are also the academic championships of Slovakia.
