Košice, Šamorín (12.11.2016) The older pupils traveled to western Slovakia to compete for the titles of Slovak Champions in Greco-Roman style. 7 competitors traveled to the tournament with coach Mgr. Juraj Dancák. Our club has long prepared its charges in freestyle, but Greco-Roman is not foreign to the boys either. This was confirmed by the 3 medals at the weekend's Slovak Championships.
The most valuable medal and the title of Slovak Champion in this category was won by Viktor Váňa in the 100 kg weight category. Two other medals were won by wrestlers in the 85 kg weight category, Patrik Tomlein with silver and Teodor Bartko with bronze. The other boys were not as successful. js
