09. 02. 2013
| Košice, Modrany (February 9, 2013) - The Slovak Cadet Championships in Greco-Roman style belonged to the wrestlers of our Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904. And not only thanks to the two gold medals won by Jakub Sýkora and Gabriel Tysz, but especially due to the number of competitors from our club. Although they devote minimal, or almost no, time to this style during the year, a dozen cadets from ZK Košice 1904 competed in Modrany, which was half as many more than from another typically freestyle club, which is alarming not only for traditional "Greco-Roman" clubs, but especially for Slovak wrestling. This is also confirmed by the words of the ZK Košice 1904 cadet coach Miroslav Jedlička: "52 wrestlers from 15 clubs competed at the championships. Unfortunately, the level of quality in this category and style of wrestling is declining, as our team was the most numerous. We did not prepare specifically for the Greco-Roman style at all this year. We did not devote even one special train
