Preparatory - The Little Ones Competed for Points Like at the Olympics

| Košice (November 8, 2012) - Over 40 children from school sports centers at Košice primary schools on Užhorodská and Janigova streets and at ZK Košice 1904 in the Social Pavilion in Košice, and from Hidásnémethi, Hungary, competed for points in the pupil league in Košice at the end of October in the wrestling hall of the Social Pavilion on Tr. SNP in Košice. The fights were interesting; the youngest boys and girls fought for them as if at a "big" Olympics. The duels were often accompanied by tears, but there was more joy and smiling.

| Košice, Trenčín (November 4, 2012) - Three individual Slovak championship titles for Peter Pastor, Dan Pálinkás, and Michael Bodnár, and the cup for the club's first place adorn the trophy case of our ZK Košice 1904 after the domestic senior freestyle championship, which took place on Saturday, November 3, in Trenčín. We congratulate the Slovak champions, coach Juraj Dancák Sr., and the other boys on their success!

| Košice (November 1, 2012) - On Saturday, November 3, the Slovak Senior Wrestling Championships will take place in Trenčín. The wrestlers of our Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904 will only compete in freestyle, to which they are primarily dedicated. Dávid Berdis (in the 55 kg weight category) and Dan Pálinkás (up to 74 kg) will be defending their titles; Marián Hutňan will not be defending his first place due to injury.

| Written by Roman Piskoř. On Saturday, October 27, 2012, the fifth round of the I. Men's League in freestyle wrestling took place in Teplice. It was the final round, and the title was decided between the freestyle wrestlers of Vítkovice and Teplice. The Ostrava wrestlers had a better starting position, with a two-point lead in the overall standings over Teplice.

| Košice, Brno (October 23, 2012) - The ZK Košice 1904 delegation returned from the Brno Grand Prix in freestyle wrestling with three gold medals, with Gabriel Fischer (younger pupils up to 52 kg), Nina Kollarová (younger pupils up to 40 kg), and Michaela Janitorová (older pupils up to 52 kg) being the most successful among over 150 competitors from 19 clubs from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Germany, Poland, and Slovakia.

| Košice, Snina (October 20, 2012) - At the 9th A. Búrik Memorial in freestyle wrestling in Snina on Saturday, a strong competition of over 120 competitors from six countries (Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine, and Slovakia) gathered, in which the boys from our ZK Košice 1904 did not get lost. R. Szatmári was the only one to win a gold medal, and the team won the cup for second place.

| Košice, Klaipėda (October 10, 2012) - At the 14th edition of the Musu Viltys international tournament in Klaipėda, Lithuania, in strong competition from 174 cadets from eight European countries (Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Russia, Slovakia), the wrestlers of our Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904 did not get lost. Jakub Sýkora and Gabriel Tysz fought their way to the final battles. Both succumbed to German opponents.

| Košice (October 8, 2012) - In recent days, our youngest boys and girls also represented ZK Košice 1904 at international tournaments. They competed in Prievidza at the 40th edition of the tournament, in Trenčín at the 6th edition of the L. Mlynek memorial, and in Nitra at the 31st edition of the J. Svitač memorial. And they won several gold, silver, and bronze medals.

| Košice (September 30, 2012) - At the end of September, the best wrestler of Slovakia in the 20th century, world champion from Tokyo 1990 and bronze medalist from the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea, Jozef Lohyňa, led another of his training camps in Košice. Juniors and seniors of our Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904, led by coach Juraj Dancák, participated. The main goal was to hone technique and pick up freestyle "finesses" before the upcoming season.

| Košice, Štrbské Pleso (September 25, 2012) - The seniors of our ZK Košice 1904 completed a fitness training camp at Štrbské Pleso from September 17 to 21. They gained fitness in the vicinity of Štrbské Pleso and Nové Štrbské Pleso before the new season, in which they want to at least defend last year's results in individual and club competitions.

| Košice (September 14, 2012) - Slovak juniors, representatives of our ZK Košice 1904 D. Berdis and M. Bodnár, graduates of the Sports Gymnasium in Košice, unfortunately, did not make much of a splash at the World Championships in Pattaya, Thailand. M. Bodnár lost his opening duel to Canadian Phulka, D. Berdis won in the first round against Israeli Ilyaev, then succumbed to Japanese Morishitao.

| Košice (September 2, 2012) - Already tomorrow afternoon, on Monday, September 3rd, from 4:30 PM, we are starting recruitment for our wrestling club in the wrestling hall of our Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904 in the Social Pavilion at Tr. SNP 61 in Košice (entrance from the tennis courts). We welcome boys and girls, children aged six to ten, who are interested in developing their physical fitness and love sports. We will continue recruitment every other day of the work week, so not only on Mondays, but also every Wednesday and Friday. Come join us, you will enjoy sports!
