Košice Sports Personality 2024 knows its winners!
The gala evening was hosted by one of the most respected sports experts, Marcel Merčiak, alongside the great Radka Kovaľ Mazáková. The mayor of Košice, Jaroslav Polaček, many sports personalities, and also Olympians from Paris were present.
Two ŠOK statuettes also went to our club.
The award for the winner in the Sports Team category was accepted by the club president Ján Tokár, who cordially thanked the entire team for their work so far.
In the TOP 10 category, Boris Makoev was among the laureates, who added a silver medal from the European Championships in Bucharest to his previous successes.
The award was accepted on his behalf by the club coach Jakub Sýkora.
We thank the Košice Sports Academy, which is composed of erudite sports journalists and organizers of the poll, and monitors the successes of sports clubs, for nominating our Wrestling Club Košice 1904 again this year, thus placing us among the sports elite.
At the same time, we want to congratulate the absolute winner of ŠOK, Rišo Tury.
