Košice, Klaipėda - LTU (October 17-19, 2014) The Košice delegation traveled last weekend to the Lithuanian city of Klaipėda for an international tournament in the cadet category. The boys went into the fights under the guidance of coach Mgr. Miroslav Jedlička, who evaluated the competition and the performance of our wrestlers positively: "I was very satisfied with the boys and their performance!". Our representatives fought until the last seconds, which paid off for them. Among the most successful were Jakub Sýkora and Ľuboš Kundrát, who brought home silver from the tournament. "Unfinished attacks and subsequent counter-attacks were my undoing," stated Jakub Sýkora after the final fight with the Polish representative. Ľubo was clearly defeated in the final by a Latvian who is third from this year's World Championships.
