Yesterday, April 26, 2025, the Slovak U17 freestyle wrestling team participated in a ranking tournament in Alicante, La Nucia ESP
The national team also included a representative from our club, namely Jaroslav Zaremba, who won a great 2nd place.
The second group of representatives from Slovakia U20 completed a tournament in nearby Budapest.
From our representatives, Michal Závacký won 3rd place.
In Budapest, we also had a club lineup that also won several medals:
- 65 kg: Lukáš Nemergut without placement
- 74 kg: Illia Shketyk 2nd place
- 79 kg: Kevin Pekár without placement
- 79 kg: Mykhailo Stolnyk 2nd place
WW U20
- 57 kg: Oleksandra Shekhovtsova without placement
In Budapest, our delegation was led by the club president Ján Tokár and the assistant national team coach U20 Martin Židzík.
