Banská Bystrica (26.9.2015) After the withdrawal of the TJ AC Nitra team from the league, the first round was moved from summer to autumn in Banská Bystrica. Four teams from Košice, Bystrica, Slávia, and Vihorlat Snina participated in the league. At the last minute, Dunajplavba Bratislava also managed to withdraw, which significantly reduced the quality of the competition. We traveled to the league with an 8-member team of boys, under the guidance of coach Mgr. Juraj Dancák. The club's sports director, Jozef Lohyňa, also came to support the team. The competition was held in a team-versus-team system.

We won the duel against Bystrica and Slávia sovereignly 7:1, where we lost a point only in the unoccupied 65kg category. The most serious and difficult match for us was against the Vihorlat Snina team, which has three Ukrainian competitors on loan. The duel was very balanced and ended in a 4:4 draw, where Sýkora, Szatmári, Sciranka, and Bodnár won the victories for us. For such a young team, it was a success, and to our greater joy, Slávia helped us by winning two matches against Vihorlat, so we got to first place by score! mb
