Košice, Grodno (BLR) (7-9.10.2016) Martin Sciranka traveled to Grodno, Belarus again this year to measure his strength against local and foreign wrestlers. After last year's success, Martin was aiming for the top spots again this year. He did not manage to defend his first place at the next edition of the G.M. Karbyshev Memorial, but he was satisfied with the bronze medal, considering how many training sessions his job allows.
In the first round, he faced a Belarusian, whom he defeated 5:2, which secured him advancement to the semifinals, where he met a young Lithuanian, to whom he lost 2:5. In the match for bronze, he dealt with a wrestler from Turkmenistan by fall, thus securing the bronze. js
