Older Pupils - S. Mochnáč and D. Kmec Became Slovak Champions Among the "Grecos"

Košice, Rimavská Sobota (April 20, 2013) - Older pupils of the Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904, Samuel Mochnáč in the 73 kg category and Dušan Kmec in the 100 kg weight class, won at the Slovak Greco-Roman Style Championships and earned the titles of Slovak champions. Our eight-member team also succeeded in the overall evaluation and finished second in a competition of 16 clubs.

Silver medals were won in the Gemer metropolis by Peter Kundra (up to 35 kg) and Karol Kondáš (up to 47 kg). Of the other four representatives of our club, Patrik Dánai also scored points, finishing fourth in the 42 kg category, and Matúš Kumičák took sixth place in the 47 kg weight class. Martin Vangor (up to 53 kg) and Dušan Smižanský (up to 66 kg) came away empty-handed in terms of points.
