Košice, Dunajská Streda (8.4.2017) Under the guidance of coach Mgr. Juraj Dancák, they traveled to the south of Slovakia to Dunajská Streda for the Slovak Older Pupils' Championships in freestyle wrestling. 7 boys traveled to the tournament, for whom it was a great motivation due to the creation of the U16 European Championships continental competition, which concerns older pupils.
We were most pleased with Jakub ZAVACKÝ in the 53 kg weight category and Viktor VÁŇA in the 100 kg weight category. These boys won the titles of Slovak Champions for themselves and for our club. These placements, as well as the placements of the other boys, contributed to the second place in the club evaluation, where only the home team of Dunajská Streda beat us. mb
