Košice, RUS, SVK, HUN (September 26-28, 2014) This weekend, the club sent our wrestlers, from preparatory, pupils, cadets, to juniors and seniors, to fight at three international tournaments. The most successful day was the last one in the nearby Hungarian city of Hajdúnanás. From the international tournament, coach Miroslav Jedlička and his assistant Štefan Csorba brought home the silver cup in the overall team evaluation.
On Saturday, senior Jakub Sciranka wrestled at an international tournament in faraway Kemerovo (RUS) as a representative of Slovakia in the 74kg weight category. In the first round, he was no match for the representative from Kazakhstan, Bakhtiar IZBASAROV, losing 0:6, and did not advance to further fights. Photos
Saturday was also a wrestling day for our pupils in Trenčín at the L. Mlynek Memorial, from which only two boys brought home medals, but the most valuable ones: Jakub Závacký up to 44kg and Patrik Tomlein up to 73kg won 1st places.
On Sunday, our youngest wrestlers, pupils, cadets, juniors, and seniors did not rest either. The largest delegation traveled to a tournament in Hajdúnanás (HUN) where we as a club won 2nd place and as individuals the following placements:
