On November 11 and 12, an international tournament called the "Grand Prix of the City of Brno" was held in the Czech Republic. From our club, 3 girls and 4 boys traveled, along with coach M. Jedlička. From the tournament, our team brought home 3 gold medals, thanks to J. Mesiarkin in the 76kg weight class, S. Beck in the 57kg weight class, and N. Kollárová in the 52kg weight class. R. Peťák took home silver, T. Krupjak won a bronze medal in the same 84kg weight class. P. Peťáková won a bronze medal in the 60kg weight class, the unflattering 4th place was taken by H. Alkubati in the 85kg weight class, and S. Jackaninová placed 5th in the 61kg weight class. msy
