Košice, Bánovce nad Bebravou (25.03.2017) The first test at this year's Slovak championships did not go well for our younger pupils. 24 clubs from all over Slovakia participated in the tournament, and almost 130 competitors competed. The charges of coaches J. Dancák, Š. Csorba, and M. Sciranka traveled with only seven members. The greatest success among them was achieved by Samuel Beck in the 57 kg weight category, who placed 5th out of 15 competitors. In the 62 kg weight category, Radovan Košťa took the last scoring position and sixth place. The debut start at the Slovak Championships did not bring the expected success for the other boys, as they were eliminated in the opening matches. We believe that next year it will be much better and ZK Košice will return to the top ranks.
Referees Ivan Vymazal - international referee - were nominated for the tournament, and Matúš Sýkora became a newcomer among national referees after successfully completing the practical part. Andrea Šambronská was in charge of the presentation and tables. ah
