Last weekend (March 29-30, 2025), our Košice delegation participated in the largest wrestling tournament in Europe in Tallinn, Estonia
(over 2500 competitors from more than 40 countries)
Our male and female wrestlers showed great fighting spirit and proved that they can succeed in international competition.
Results:
- U20 - 86kg - Anton Vyhivskyi - 1st place / 17 - 6 wins
- U20 - 79kg - Mykhailo Stolnyk - 5th place / 13 - 4 wins / 2 losses
- U20 - 65kg - Michal Zavacký - 15th place / 16 - 2 losses
- U17 - 71kg - Jaroslav Zaremba - 12th place / 45 - 3 wins / 2 losses
- U20 Women - 57kg - Oleksandra Shekhovtsova - 4th place / 12 - 2 wins / 2 losses
Subsequently, after the tournament, they will attend a joint international training camp.
