Košice, Siedlce POL (03.06.2017) Coach Mgr. Miroslav Jedlička traveled to the Polish town of Siedlce with a delegation of girls and also entered boys in two categories. It was a very high-quality tournament, especially for our junior women. The sister duo Nina and Dominika Kollárová both finished in 3rd place. Both competed among the junior women, and although Nina is still a cadette by age, she did not get lost in the strong competition even among the older girls. Sofia Jackaninová competed for ZK Košice, who is still gaining experience at such events. After two losses to representatives from UKR and POL, she finished in seventh place.
Wrestlers from OŠG Košice also competed at this international event, winning gold:
Samuel Bučko 1/4
Patrik Tomlein 1/3
In addition to the delegation from Košice, a girls' national team also traveled to this tournament, led by coach Agáta Strelczyk and her assistant Lenka Matejová. The Bratislava native K. Oroszová took 3rd place, and N. Rusová 2nd place. The joint photo also includes the trip of the Wrestling Jedla club and coach P. Hrinko with his charge and daughter Karin. ah
