| Košice (March 19, 2012) - Promoting the principles of transparency and efficiency in the use of the federation's financial resources, primarily for the development of youth work in all the federation's clubs and for the preparation of successful wrestling representatives in all styles, are the main principles and goals of the work of the newly elected president of the Slovak Wrestling Federation (SZZ), Arpád Bakšay, who was elected by the delegates of the SZZ General Assembly as the first man of Slovak wrestling for the next four years on Saturday, March 17, in Bratislava.

| Belgrade (March 8, 2012) - The freestyle wrestlers of our ZK Košice 1904, D. Pálinkás and M. Hutňan, will not have fond memories of the European Championships in Belgrade. The former was stopped from advancing against further opponents by Aydin Ergun, a naturalized Turk with a German passport, while the latter was sidelined by a left knee injury in the first-round duel against Spaniard José Cuba Vazquez.

| Košice, Belgrade (March 7, 2012) - Today's draw at the European Senior Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, determined the opponents for the freestyle wrestlers of our Košice 1904 Wrestling Club. Dan Pálinkás will face German Aydin Ergun in the qualification round of the 74 kg weight category, and Marián Hutňan will wrestle against Spaniard José Vazquez Cuba in the round of 16 of the heaviest category, up to 120 kg. "Dana faces a tough match in the first round. In my opinion, he got an unpleasant opponent and will have to exert all his strength and abilities for success. Maja faces a seemingly easier opponent on paper, but he will also have to give his maximum performance. I believe in both boys and will be cheering them on loudly," reacted Ján Tokár Jr., president of ZK Košice 1904, to the draw this evening. | Košice, Bratislava (February 3, 2012) – The juniors of our Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904 could, in unison on Saturday after the Slovak Championships in Bratislava, exclaim the famous Caesarian "Veni! Vidi! Vici!". They came, they saw, they conquered! Out of eight possible gold medals, they won five in freestyle and also took home the most valuable trophy for a dominant victory in the team competition. Second-place Dunajplavba Bratislava was an incredible 28 points behind them.

| Košice (November 21, 2010) - Jakub Gazda, a junior of the Košice 1904 Wrestling Club, will go down in the history of the Olympic Hopes international tournament in Košice as the only Slovak to win at this year's 13th edition of the event, attended by 78 wrestlers from 14 clubs from five countries, including the national teams of Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and the best juniors. The Bulgarians took the lead, followed by the Poles and Hungarians in the team competition.

| Košice, Snina (17.6.2018) On Sunday, the second round of the Slovak Senior League took place, which was moved from Nitra to Snina. Our boys, after two victorious matches, one draw, and one loss, maintained their second place ahead of the strong Vihorlat Snina. Under the guidance of coach M. Jaroš, the following team traveled to the league: 61kg - Peter Pástor, 65kg - Peter Janica, 70kg - Makar Vyhivskyi, 74kg - Matej Zavacký, 86kg - Matej Deák, 97kg - Boris Makoev, 125kg - Matúš Sýkora.
