London Olympics - The Strongest Freestyle Wrestler on the Planet is Uzbek Taymazov

| Košice (August 17, 2012) - The winner of the heaviest weight category, up to 120 kg in freestyle at the XXX Summer Olympic Games in London, was Uzbek Taymazov, after defeating Georgian Modzmanashvili in the final.

| Košice, Zagreb (June 20, 2012) - SR representative, wrestler of our ZK Košice 1904 M. Bodnár, fought today at the European Junior Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, in the 84 kg weight category for the bronze medal against Akhundov of Azerbaijan. Unfortunately, he lost to his opponent 1:3 and ultimately took a valuable 5th place. Congratulations!

| Košice (May 30, 2012) - At the end of May, members of our Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904 met at the Social Pavilion to review the past year with the club's management, discuss goals for the end of the current year, and evaluate and, to the delight of many, reward the best wrestlers in individual age categories. From the annual report, we learned that last year, ten seniors and one senior woman, seven juniors, nine cadets, the same number of older pupils, 15 younger pupils, and 20 preparatory trainees trained and represented our club in competitions. The club also consists of 30 other members. In the evaluated year, we were the best wrestling club in Slovakia. This is proven by the results on domestic and foreign mats, which was confirmed by the Slovak Wrestling Federation when our ZK was evaluated as the most successful in the overall ranking, in freestyle and Greco-Roman style, in 2011.

| Košice (May 26, 2012) - Arpád Baksay is no longer the president of the Slovak Wrestling Federation (SZZ). He resigned from the post of the head of Slovak wrestling last weekend, just two months after his election. The main reason for his decision was fundamental disagreements between the ideas of the SZZ presidium members about the functioning and direction of Slovak wrestling and the principles of work and goals of the federation president, which he declared before his election.

| Košice (May 19, 2012) - At the 31st annual international tournament for the Cup of the Director of the Sports Gymnasium in Košice, among the representatives of our ZK Košice 1904, M. Gazda and G. Tysz performed the best, winning in their respective weight categories. In the team competition, our cadets placed 3rd behind the winning Hungarian national team and the Ukrainian freestyle wrestlers from Lviv. 62 cadets from 12 clubs from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, and Slovakia competed in the tournament.

| Košice, Bratislava (May 5, 2012) - At the traditional international freestyle tournament for juniors in Bratislava for the Danube Cup, out of the four wrestlers from our ZK Košice 1904, only M. Bodnár made a significant mark. He also dealt with the quality competition of Hungarian and Austrian representatives and won in his weight category.

| Košice, Helsinki (May 5, 2012) - D. Pálinkás, a freestyle wrestler for ZK Košice 1904 and a Slovak representative, achieved one of the most significant successes for Slovak freestyle wrestlers in recent years at the 2nd World Qualification Tournament for the 2012 London Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. In the 74 kg weight category, he finished in 3rd place, missing out on a spot at the world's most important sporting event by just one step.

| Košice (April 14, 2012) - Freestyle wrestler of our Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904, a student of the Sports Gymnasium in Košice, Róbert Szatmári, won the title of Slovak champion in the 53 kg weight category at the Slovak Older Pupils Championships on Saturday on home mats in the Social Pavilion, thus defending last year's first place in this category from November in Trenčín.

| Košice (April 14, 2012) - Simultaneously with the domestic championship of older pupils in Košice, girls and women also competed in the Slovak Championships on Saturday in the Social Pavilion. A title was also won by one of the competitors of our Wrestling Club (ZK) Košice 1904 - Nina Kollárová won among the younger pupils in the 39 kg category.

| Košice (April 1, 2012) - During the general assembly of the Slovak Wrestling Federation, the best wrestling clubs and individuals in three age categories were evaluated. Among juniors and seniors, the wrestlers of our club won, and the Wrestling Club Košice 1904 was awarded as the best club.

| Younger Pupils - G. Fischer is the Slovak Freestyle Champion Bánovce n. Bebravou (March 31, 2012) - At the Slovak Younger Pupils Freestyle Championships, which took place on Saturday, March 31, in Bánovce nad Bebravou, Gabriel Fischer in the 52 kg weight category was the most successful of our boys, being the only representative of ZK Košice 1904 to win a gold medal, asserting himself in a competition of nine other opponents. A good number of 107 younger pupils born between 1999 and 2001 from 17 Slovak clubs took part in the championship. Seven boys from Košice competed, which was reflected in the overall team competition ranking, as ZK Košice 1904 finished only in ninth place with 17 points, a decline from previous positions. In addition to G. Fischer, Hany Al-Kubati also made it to the podium for the top three, winning a silver medal in the 57 kg category.

| Košice (March 24, 2012) - Gabriel Tysz, a cadet of ZK Košice 1904, is on a roll this year. At the domestic championships of this age category, he found no rival not only in freestyle but also among the classic-style wrestlers. First, he won the most valuable metal on the second Saturday of March in Šamorín, when he won in the final of the Greco-Roman style championships against M. Csuvara from the host ZK Gladiátor Šamorín, and then two weeks later he succeeded against the same opponent in Snina in freestyle.
